Chromic Acid(CrO3)

It is flake in red-brown.having melting point 197oC and specific gravity 2.7. It is a strong oxidizer.having corrosivity, toxily any easy to deliquescence.

Application:

It is used for wood preservation(CCA), electroplating, metal finishing professing and manufacturing of catalyst for ammonia synthesis, and it is also used as dye mordant and oxidizer.
