Anode paste was made of delayed petroleum coke
and coal tar pitch which was mixed and kneaded in the kneader, as
raw materials. The product is stable in quality with the features
of low content of ash, good conductivity of electricity, strong
mechanical strength, oxidation resistance and so on. Anode paste
is mainly used in the self-baked electrolysis cell of either side
-inserting or top-inserting. Anode paste is shaped like a trapezium
block which is black and weights 15kg. It can also be small piece
of block.
